Q:
In preparing for the exam, is memorizing
the PMBOK® Guide sufficient?
A: The PMP covers
material in greater depth than offered
by the Project Management Body of Knowledge
(PMBOK® Guide). It is also important that
you understand the material covered,
and not necessarily memorize content in
preparing for the exam. We recommend either
taking a PMP exam preparation course (whether
through the PMP Instructors or another
training company), purchasing the exam
preparation courseware available through
the PMP Instructors’ online store, and
taking one or more full length practice
tests. This courseware can be used as
self-study material, and includes a full-length
practice exam.
